Alternatives to Suicide
This is a peer-run group for individuals and a space where people can provide support for one another, strategize about alternatives to help each other best cope with difficult life circumstances, and talk about experiences of feeling suicidal without being judged. Meets Tuesdays from 4-5:30 pm.
Hearing Voices Group
Hearing Voices groups offer a safe haven where people who hear, see or sense things that other people don't can feel accepted, valued and understood. Hearing Voices groups do not pathologize the experience of hearing voices or experiencing other altered/extreme states. Instead they ask, “what does the experience mean to you?” You do not need to hear voices to attend this group. Meets Mondays from 11-12:30 and Sundays from 4:30-6 pm.
